The Rail Jam is coming!!!

If you want to advertise for us you can download either of the flyers and distrube them however you see fit.

Here is a quick list of what you can expect this Thursday:

  • A new and improved configuration for the drop in. (Taller and longer.)
  • Smith Optics and Warm Winds selling their gear.
  • Sticker Party spinned ill beats for our listening pleasure.
  • Two tents for you to go and get out of the elements and still watch the competition.
  • Lots of PRIZES, including gear from Civil, Warm Winds, Smith Optics and some choice lift passes.
  • One hell of an audio system including an 18" so you can really FEEL IT!
  • And last but not least, a kissing booth to support the Surf Club and their humanitarian trip to Nicaragua.

And a list of things we can still use help with:

  1. A Graduate Sudent or full time URI Staff Member to officially monitor the entire event from 5pm to 9pm.
  2. Videographer - We would really like to get the entire event on video. From setup to breakdown.
  3. Sponsors or anyone willing to donate to the cause.
  4. Shovels and people to shovel snow.
  5. Volunteers to register contestants and collect their canned goods.
  6. Clean up crew for after the event. (It took about 15 minutes to clean up in the past.)
